Who is god?

So, I actually just finished my other post when I came by and little talk on the blog of paper angels.
It was an post about two children who were selling tissue paper on the station. I read it and then thought about an discussion I had with my dad a couple of days ago.

"Who is god?"

My parents thought me 2 different meanings of god.
1. The man who created it all. The world, the universe, people, animals, weather, pleasure, hate, jesus, etc.
The second was an god who is made of all of us. God would be and spiritual cloud of thoughts, feelings and happenings. And ball of information that would spread over the world. An world of wise words, guidance, people. So the person who would be 'god' would be me. And you. And all the surrounding people who you love, like, see everyday and the people you meet on the way.

So I ask you. Who is god? I god an wise "person" who created all of us in 7 days, makes fate, makes disasters and makes people want to move to make it better. Is he is the puppeteer of fate? The maker of all that is left of us?

Not too long ago I wrote an story about 21-12-2012. This is when the Maya calendar will end.  So they asked me to do an cover about how the world will end. I thought about it for an long time. What kind of story do I want it to be? from what aspect do I want my readers to see it happen? Who will I be and where will I be at that very moment? And then I wrote it. It was about what I could not do and what I didn't do. It was about the coward's in this world who never do anything and just think that everything will be allright. No it will not be.

I don't know if you know the land Tuvalu? That is an land that had 13 islands. 7 of them can be lived on and most of them are full of garbage. Their islands are sinking because of the sea level that is rising. They think that their 'god' will save them. Is it not just standard logic to think that maybe, just maybe god will not save us?

The church is trying to go back to the way the church was 50 years ago. All fierce and keeping their rules. Sure there are some people who are totally happy whit that. My grandma for example. But my parents who wanted to get baptize at the age of 25 said they wanted to write them selfs out  of church. They decided to go back to be an non believer. Our church wants the woman to be less then the man. Of course, because I am an woman, I think this is bullshit but there are so many people who think it's bullshit why would they say that then? That way you really won't get any young people in your church. Mostly they are there because they had to because of their parents. Not that they agree with your words of wisdom.

Maybe I am coming to strong over. Maybe I am judging too fast but have you ever thought about why there would be 4 versions of the tale about jesus? Yes he was an hero to them but I think he was not god's gift. Maybe He was just an good political person who stood up for the people in Jerusalem and defended them fromt the Romanian soldiers who occupied Jerusalem in the time Jesus spoke for his people. Maybe the Bible is just an great written story. No one knows he really did exist because we where not there. We all where not even born.

So if I had to choose, I would favor option 2. Because to me, it sounds more logical. Although I would love it if there really was an god and an Jesus. That would mean someone would really watch over us. What I do believe in is fate and aura. Both of them have been appeard in front of me and both made an great change in my life.
So after this long post I wish you all and happy sleeping time!
Greetz! Anouk
